Public Relations Intern

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This internship may include some or all of the following:

1. Focusing on media relations to establish effective media lists
2. Creating press releases for the company and providing assistance for follow-up
3. Gather/distribute news clips
4. Create collateral materials

QUALIFICATIONS: Internships are open to college juniors and higher majoring in communications fields interested in online marketing and entertainment. This program is intended to help prepare the student for life after college with hands on communication experience and the opportunity to build a portfolio. Minimum 15 hours per week.

Editorial Intern

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This internship may include some or all of the following:

1. Using Photoshop, adding articles and images to various owned and operated websites
2. Compilation of file materials to support current projects
3. Photocopying file materials.

The editorial Intern will upload articles, videos and photos on to CraveOnline.com. Review site content from across our owned and operated and affiliate sites for inclusion on CraveOnline.com.

QUALIFICATIONS: Internships are open to college juniors and higher majoring in technology/communications fields interested in online marketing and entertainment. This program is intended to help prepare the student for life after college with hands on communication experience and the opportunity to build a portfolio.

Proficiency in Photoshop is necessary as you will be acquiring and adding images to the site via our CMS. Should be very familiar with pop culture (Movies, Comics, Gaming, Music, etc) and be very internet savvy. Minimum 15 hours per week.

Marketing Coordinator

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing sales executions on Crave Online between sales, editorial, design, and development teams. Majority focus will be on building providing creative direction, production timelines, and prioritizing work flow among all teams — all with client’s goals in mind.

Secondary duties will include brainstorming high-impact programs for clients, writing proposals, and supporting sales with creative solutions and ideas.

This position may include some or all of the following:

1. Hands-on execution of sold marketing programs from client kick-off to campaign completion

2. Assist with creative brainstorms: custom microsites, editorial sponsorships, sponsorable guides, etc.

3. Work directly with multiple teams including Sales, Editorial, Design, Development, Legal and Ad Trafficking

4. Provide creative direction for design team

5. Work closely with Sales team

6. Manage timelines

7. Prioritize workflow

8. Fulfill client requests

9. Build production schedules

10. Coordinate client approval process

11. Optimize program performance

12. Direct development responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years experience in marketing and media preferred
  • Common software applications: Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.
  • Excel and PowerPoint experience are required
  • Superb Communication Abilities, Organization, Team Attitude, Problem Solving Capabilities, Assertive Nature
